DESCRIPTION

We are pleased to introduce this very rare opportunity to purchase a large acreage, with immaculately re-designed and renovated country home on the westerly side of Lac La Hache, BC.  Totalling 35 acres, with recently granted legal access off of Caverly Road, this stunning property is the perfect option for anyone looking to leave city life behind and enjoy the great outdoors.

The residence is approximately 1,800 square feet and was built in 1996.  Since purchasing the property the current owners completed a significant renovation throughout the entire home with well-appointed upgrades and reconfigurations.  The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 washrooms, and are ideal for families with children of all ages.  The kitchen is a work of art, and is the perfect space for not only cooking but for gathering and entertaining too.  The entire main floor is open and well-lit with large windows providing plenty of natural light.  At the back of home there are two patio/deck spaces, both of which have beautiful views over the property and onto the lake.

Adjacent to the house is a large garden with numerous beds for all kinds of plants.  If you have a green thumb, you’ll be able to spend hours enjoying planting, maintaining and harvesting all that this beautiful garden can offer.  The land surrounding the home and garden is the perfect mix of open area, and varying densities of forest.  The beautiful trees surrounding the home create a sense of security and remoteness, which is perfect for those looking for a little privacy.  The property is also only a few minutes’ walk to public beach areas and a boat launch, so days spent on or by the lake are headache free and very convenient.

Beyond the boundaries of the property exist seemingly endless Crown land, which is rich in untouched forest for as far as the eye can see.  This area is well known for its recreational opportunities, and it is extremely rare to find a property with immediate lake access, as well as bordering Crown land that is littered with trails for snowmobiles, ATVs, horseback, etc.  Both hunting and fishing are at your fingertips, which will ensure you stay busy enjoying the great outdoors year-round.  The property is also close to the Gold Rush Trail which is a renowned snowmobile trail running for hundreds of kilometres.  A recent shelter was added along the trail too, which provides a warm spot to take a break as you navigate the winding trail.
